Charlotte Technical College is a post-secondary technical college that offers 23 career certificate adult programs.  For over 35 years, Charlotte Technical College has provided quality education for hundreds of students who have gone on too be successful both personally and professionally.  We offer challenging instructional programs in high skill, high wage and high demand occupations.  All of the career and technical programs are aligned with state and national standards.  Students have the opportunity to earn master credentials and many programs are aligned to state wide articulation agreements which will allow student to earn articulated credit to a state college to continue the educational pathway.  Charlotte Technical College instructors are dedicated to making student experiences enjoyable and rewarding.  The instructors are experts within their field and bring real experiences necessary to transition into a career.  All of our programs include career planning and employability skills training to assist students in placement after receiving their credentials.

Our programs work in partnership with business and industry in our community.  The combination of exceptional instructors, great partnerships with business and industry and industry standard curriculum, equipment and technology is a future career for those that enter!  In support of the Florida Restaurant Association and to assist in the area of Hospitality and Tourism, Charlotte Technical College offers the Professional Culinary Arts and Hospitality Program which includes ServSafe certification and consists of 1200 hours.  Students attend this program during the day and can complete in one year.  Charlotte Technical College also offers Baking and Pastry.  This program is a 600 hour program which students can complete in one semester. We consider our chef’s to be among the best in southwest Florida and our Papa G’s Restaurant is a favorite among the local community.
